Learning From My Betting Blunders
First to explain why I write this essay. I have been gambling on the web or at land based casinos for many years. I have learned, the addiction can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it until you are broke. Particularly if you are on a winning run. I’ve gone through countless thousands of dollars in only a tiny period of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It appears you’re just having a blast until you decide to be aware of your defeats and the guilt settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t works. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the harder you attempt the faster you lose.
When you notice that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, don’t tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" and over and over again, trust me, this concept RARELY ever functions. Say you are playing on slot games, have a bankroll put aside prior to starting your action. Don’t go over that limit, regardless how appealing. If you happen to win, put that in a different pot. Do not spend your wins no matter what. Once you have played through your original set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it is on the net or at a physical casino, don’t stick around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, a different time.
Always remember, gambling should be exciting not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t manage the loss, do not even start.
